Behavioural therapy

Behavioural therapy

The key to a happy dog

When do you need behavioural therapy? Some dogs develop unwanted or problematic behaviour. Unwanted behaviour is behaviour that we find unpleasant but that the dog may not necessarily experience as such. Problematic behaviour is behaviour that is a problem for the dog as well.

Unwanted or problematic behaviour causes inconvenience, both within and outside the family. It also gets worse if you respond to this behaviour incorrectly. It can eventually become so intense that you no longer see a viable solution yourself, which is often the reason why so many dogs end up in shelters. It’s a shame because behaviour therapy and coaching can provide a solution.

It’s important to identify the cause of unwanted or problematic behaviour in the first place. Based on that, a plan of action is developed and we work together to address it.
